Adding Labels to Timeline Layers

By using the context menu from the Timeline Editor panel, you can add labels to any layer.

To not interfere with the motions displayed on the property layers, it is advisable to add labels:

  • To the Global layer, if you want to add a label about the animation, or
  • To the Object's layer, if you want to add a label concerning that object precisely.

To add a label to the animation:

  1. From the Global Layer of the animation, select a frame by clicking on it.
  2. Right-click the selected frame.
  3. From the context menu, select theLabeloption. The Frame Label dialog appears.
  4. In the Frame label field, insert a label for the selected frame.
  5. Click OK.

If you want to add a label to a frame of an object layer, select a frame from an object layer and repeat steps 2-5 above.

You may add as many labels as you want.
